Citi?!?! - Wayfair I always thought the practice to where finance charges are accumulated and charged from the date of purchase if not paid before a promotional rate comes due was a Synchrony thing. I just got a notice from Citi/Wayfair that they have the same setup. That sucks! I thought better of Citi.

Citi has a very long memory. I was able to get back into Citi 2 years after my chapter 7 discharge with a Best Buy store card. Note that this card is handled through Citi's reatail credit card division. Over the years, I added the Macy's Amex, Wayfair MC, Shop your way rewards MC, and the Costco Visa. I put something into the shopping cart. Then I signed into Gamestop online account. I got pre-approval immediately. I only got approved for $1500.

Re: Citi Wayfair CLI One thing to keep in mind is that sometimes a freeze may not have taken effect as quickly as expected. That said, it's pretty typical for most Citi Retail (non-core) CCs to HP for any CLI requests. So, if requesting a CLI, you're providing permissible purpose for the request.
